Our client is seeking a Business Development Manager to be responsible for securing long term, blue chip, business throughout the year. The security industry tends to have a very long sales cycle with most contracts being signed up for between 12 and 36 months in the initial term. - To achieve the Centre’s sales growth targets for manned guarding & associated services through the effective application of the Company sales processes in a manner to assist the Centre in exceeding its annually agreed targets and budgets. - You must build a secure pipeline based on his / her own relationships. This is achieved through targeted weekly telephone and visit activity. - The successful candidate must have excellent IT and word processing skills. Along with Business Development Managerial experience. - All contract costings are prepared locally by the BDM thus commercial knowledge is required too, although training will be provided on cost models and structures.
